For those adults who want to join the Catholic Church, there is a program called Rite of Christian Initiation. This program usually begins in the fall for the first period called Inquiry culminating in the Rite of Acceptance on the first Sunday of December. The program continues in the spring with the Rite of Enrollment by the Bishop and culminates in full membership into the Church as Easter Vigil. For those adults who have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and the Eucharist and desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, there is a series of classes that are offered after Easter and conclude at Pentecost Sunday where Confirmation is conferred by the Bishop.
